“They are abundantly satisfied with the fullness of Your house, And You give them drink from the river of Your pleasures.”
Did you know that God wants you to experience His Presence, living in that tangible reality daily? This should not be something that is uncommon to believers – rather a regular practice in our lives. We were created for the Presence of God. We were even created ?in? the Presence of God.
Adam was created by the hand of God in the Garden of Eden, otherwise known as the Garden of Pleasures (Eden). Eden was a paradise in the Presence of God.
“The garden of Eden is the site in which God placed His human creation, Adam ( adam), and shortly thereafter, Eve (chawwah). Within the garden, which can be adequately described as a fertile oasis, two trees existed: the tree of life and the tree of the knowledge of good and evil.” (Lexham Bible Dictionary)
In the Garden of Eden, Adam and Eve were clothed in the glory of God’s Presence. When they disobeyed God they lost that covering and replaced it with leaves. Jesus came to restore us into a fullness of God?s Presence. In essence He brought us back to the Garden of God.(Ezek. 28:13) He came to restore that which was lost – that we might know Him in the most meaningful, powerful and tangible way.
Jesus understood this life because He lived it. As the perfect man He exemplified how we should walk. Jesus emptied Himself of His divine privilege becoming like us. He lived with the full measure of the Spirit in His earthly ministry – heaven walking on earth. As a man overflowing with the Presence of God, being empowered by the Spirit, life proceeded from Him wherever He went. This is the abundant life that He promised you.
?Most assuredly, I say to you, he who believes in Me, the works that I do he will do also; and greater works than these he will do, because I go to My Father.”
