Glory In His Cross

Hebrews 11:39
“Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God.”

When Jesus endured the cross it was for the joy of many sons “and daughters” coming into the vast inheritance of His Father. We were His joy. Coming to do the Father’s pleasure, He paid the very highest of prices that we might live.

He wanted us to know His love, experiencing oneness with Him through His Spirit. Laying down His life on the cross, Jesus became the bridge between God and man. He is the Chief Intercessor, bridging the gap through love and sacrifice.

Galatians 2:20
“I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me.”

The work of the cross is perfect. All that was needed to pay for the sins of all mankind was covered in the cross.

Our life in him is secured in the cross, for when He died, we died that we might be alive to God.

See yourself crucified with Christ.
See yourself risen with Christ.
See yourself seated with Christ in the heavenly realms.

He has done it all!
He has made all things good!
