?With my whole heart I have sought You;
Oh, let me not wander from Your commandments.?
God promises us that when we seek Him with the whole heart He will be found by us. Jesus told us to ?seek first? the Kingdom of God and His righteousness. (Matthew 6:33) God is looking for a people who will seek His face. Is God just a casual standby to our lives or are we aggressively seeking His face, desiring to be with Him?
In this encounter someone was telling me, ?all these things work together?. ?It later reminded me of the scripture that tells us ?all things work together for those who love God??.
?And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose.?
But what really is the litmus test for our love for God? Surely a portion of that is measured by how we live our lives dependent upon Him.??Do we think we can live our lives casually without a heart desperate for Him? God is wanting His Kingdom manifested in and through our lives. Through our diligent seeking of Him we are found by His searching spotlight. This is the favor of God.
?For You are the glory of their strength,
And in Your favor our horn is exalted.?
When we demonstrate?our love towards Him through a seeking heart He causes all things to work together for our good. It is because we are seeking His face, not just because we are saved. If we believe we can do what we want living apart from God?s Presence then we deceive ourselves.?God has searching spotlights that are only going to find those who are looking for Him in humble pursuit.
Jesus told us to pray His Kingdom come and will be done as it is in heaven. (Matthew 6:10) He is telling us to seek for manifestation of the Kingdom of God on earth. Our pursuit of God is for the realm of the King to be manifested in our midst in powerful demonstrations of the Spirit. Out of His glory cloud come searching spotlights. Determine in your heart today that you will seek the Lord, loving the Lord with all of your heart, soul, mind and strength. (Mark 12:30)?God is looking to manifest Himself to us as our love is poured out before Him.
