The Holy Spirit, Intimacy & Family

God’s love is amazing! There is no replacement for experiencing the depths of His love for us. His love is where we find our true identity. People search for their own self-worth in so many places, but there is only one place that it is found. When we discover that Jesus paid the price for us so that we can be part of the family of God it changes our perspective on everything. God has the best family!

The Perfect Family

John 14:15-18
“If you love Me, keep My commandments. And I will pray the Father, and He will give you another Helper, that He may abide with you forever– the Spirit of truth, whom the world cannot receive, because it neither sees Him nor knows Him; but you know Him, for He dwells with you and will be in you. I will not leave you orphans; I will come to you.”

The world is filled with people who have had difficult family experiences. Thankfully, God has the perfect family. When we get a vision of how beautiful family is in God’s heart and see how He has designed it to look on earth it is truly life-changing. We have been grafted in to His family being made sons and daughters of God. Before we can be all that God has called us to be we need to know who we are as His own people. God wants to deliver His people from?a feeling of disconnectedness. When people don’t understand the reality that God has made them a part of His family or have a hard time grasping His love it comes from feeling orphaned?in their life experiences It is hard for those?who have desire to connect with God and His family at a higher level when their particular religious circle is impersonal, dry and difficult. A revelation of God’s love and welcoming of the Holy Spirit is needed to?bring change in our lives.

The Holy Spirit is the spiritual drink that we need. He is not an option but a necessity. For a body of people to feel a sense of belonging and feeling connected?as part the family of God the Holy Spirit must be embraced. If He is not received in our lives things become mechanical and in the direction of superficial activities, programs and other things people come up with to give the “look” of community when there is actually no substance to it. It takes the Holy Spirit for He is the Spirit of adoption through which we cry “Abba Father”. He is the one who delivers from the feelings of a?disconnected life experience. In particular the family?aspect of the Spirit that needs released is the “Father’s love” that is poured out in our hearts through Him.

True Identity & Spirituality

Philippians 3:8
“Yet indeed I also count all things loss for the excellence of the knowledge of Christ Jesus my Lord, for whom I have suffered the loss of all things, and count them as rubbish, that I may gain Christ.”

There has been much dysfunction in the Body of Christ in regards to how to relate and communicate with one another. Many seek positions in the spirit of competition because of their lack of knowing that their identity comes from being part of God’s family. Some people think everything has to “sound spiritual” for something?to be spiritual. Everything we do, every interaction and act has spiritual meaning and impact.

We don’t want to try to act spiritual. We are spiritual and it won’t change. God wants us to seek Him, be hungry for Him and be satisfied with Him. Religious zeal without intimate knowledge of God creates superficiality. Our intimacy with God creates a heart that is satisfied with Him, content with what He gives us. Seeking platforms and positions falls by the wayside when see that He alone is the purpose and point of our lives.

Our Level of Intimacy with God

2 Corinthians 13:14
The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the communion of the Holy Spirit be with you all. Amen.

Our level of intimacy with God determines where our satisfaction comes from. The more we learn to commune with God in all places and at all times the more sensitive we will be to His Holy Spirit. We don’t have to be in a certain place to commune with the Holy Spirit but can commune with Him in our hearts anywhere entering into His conversation. Living this way we experience the anointing of the Holy Spirit.
Learn to create a dialogue with the Holy Spirit within your heart. Here you will discover the depths of Christ, the wonder of His love, the peace of God and a life that is satisfied in His Presence.

    I STRONGLY AGREED
This brings close intimacy with the creator of the universe.

  2. We need to communicate with the Holy Spirit at all times. Nothing is too less important to discuss with Him
