Library of the Spirit & The Acoustics of Heaven – Part Two

This is part two of “Library of the Spirit & The Acoustics of Heaven”. God is ready and willing to take us up into His library of the Holy Spirit. The spirit of wisdom and revelation is available to us as we ascend in our worship to Him. There is so much for us to encounter.

Gazing Into the Face of His Person

As for me, I will see Your face in righteousness; I shall be satisfied when I awake in Your likeness.

Psalms 17:15

With God being at the center there will be a new glow on our faces. The everlasting joy will be upon our heads just as Isaiah prophesied so long ago. Just as Paul spoke about “joy unspeakable and full of the glory” so it will not be mere words on a page in black and white but a living reality in our lives. The Holy Spirit cannot be at the center and we do not experience the power of His joy in the glory of God. Paul told us to rejoice in the Lord always. The reason he could tell us to is because he did rejoice always. He suffered and had all the hard tests and trials. But the glory of God’s Spirit was a sure deposit within Him that enabled him to be filled with joy at all times. He knew the power of releasing that joy so that he would receive strength. David, psalmist and king, knew the power of rejoicing and the joy that accompanied those who ministered to the Lord. God inhabits the praise of His people.

Heaven is filled with joy. To breathe in heaven’s atmosphere is to breathe in peace, joy and love in His glory. We will be satisfied when we awake with His countenance upon our faces. God is satisfying. There is nothing disappointing about Him. It is all good! Brightness and joy are our inheritance in Christ. It is the fruit of having the Holy Spirit in the center of our hearts.

Brilliant Colors in His Presence

And he that sat was to look upon like a jasper and a sardine stone: and there was a rainbow round about the throne, in sight like unto an emerald.

Revelation 4:3

A life of color is a life that has freedom of expression in relationship with God. God is the purest form of Light. The rainbow is found within that light creating a broad spectrum of color and life.

The Holy Spirit brings forth the color. Light is composed of the spectrum of a rainbow. Just as a rainbow has many colors, God is light and has beauty and variety in His glory. It is wrong for churches to be plain and dull. It is a reflection of what is going on spiritually. There should be life, color and creativity being released. Heaven is the most beautiful place! It is far beyond all we can ask or imagine. We can see beauty just in what God has created here on the planet before man had done anything to it. Even what we have here is in a fallen state and it is still very beautiful. God is not grey, dull, legalistic and ugly. He is amazing, incredible; over the top and words cannot begin to describe the glory of who He is. We need God to put color in our lives and settle for nothing less.

Brown Humble Chair of Servanthood

Peter saith unto him, Thou shalt never wash my feet. Jesus answered him, If I wash thee not, thou hast no part with me.

John 13:8

In this vision I had I saw God sitting in a humble brown chair. Brown is the color for servanthood. He was seated in this chair at the center. He was the center of attention. His desire is to serve us. As we allow Him to “help” us as the Holy Spirit, the Helper, so we then can serve him effectively. It is impossible for us to serve Him without allowing the Holy Spirit to help us, serve us. As we allow Him to serve us we can then serve Him and one another through the grace He gives.

It is only when we allow the Lord to serve us that we are able to serve Him. We can do nothing apart from Him. Only through Him can we be a blessing to others.

Fire of Prayer Being Released

And when he had taken the book, the four beasts and four and twenty elders fell down before the Lamb, having every one of them harps, and golden vials full of odors, which are the prayers of saints.

Revelation 5:8

All of these things bring us to a place of fire and empowerment in His glory. Taking a walk into His library of life, revelation and of the Spirit we will experience His sound. His sound will in turn draw us closer to Him. The melodies of the Spirit being released in our hearts are a way that God connects us. Just as a high speed Internet connection gives us a faster line to move from place to place online, God gets us into a higher speed connection through the sounds of worship. It is the speed of sound, the speed of light in His glory. It has a great combustion effect that fuels the fire of His Presence in our lives.
