Pray Through to Breakthrough

The Lord comes to us stirring our minds to remembrance. At this time I feel we need to be reminded to “Pray Through to Breakthrough”.

This second epistle, beloved, I now write unto you; in both which I stir up your pure minds by way of remembrance…

1 Peter 3:1

Pray Through

In the life of Elijah we see how He “prayed earnestly” to see results.

The effective, fervent prayer of a righteous man avails much. Elijah was a man with a nature like ours, and he prayed earnestly that it would not rain; and it did not rain on the land for three years and six months. And he prayed again, and the heaven gave rain, and the earth produced its fruit.

James 5:16-18

Elijah prayed specific prayers. He had a knowing of God’s will, a focus and determination about what he was praying for. Coupled with this – he had a spirit that was “fervent” and churning with fire for God’s purposes and desires.

God wants us to again “pray through to the breakthrough”.

We need to understand that God wants to to experience something much greater than we can imagine. In this world, we have to keep our focus on that which is eternal.

God wants to make us pregnant with His desires that we would come into an incredible union with His heart. He wants us to see as He sees, to know as He knows and to feel as He feels. It is His desire for us to long for His perspective. He says to us, “I want you to really feel what I’m feeling about this situation, see from My perspective and hear My heart on this. Get My heart and pray through for the breakthrough in the natural.”

No Respecter of Persons

Whatever it may be, God wants us to “be in the know” of His heart and plans. He is looking for those who want to be so close to His heart that in His eyes they are considered “His prophets”.

Surely the Lord God does nothing,Unless He reveals His secret to His servants the prophets.

Amos 3:7

In these times we must have a tenacity to press in, refusing to quit, but to keep moving forward into His best

As you move in the direction He leads – don’t be surprised if He has you make some adjustments, but keep your heart churning in prayer. Don’t stop short of a full release in prayer. Engage. Allow the Lord to pray through you until you sense a release and freedom in your spirit.

Stay Strong

Watch, stand fast in the faith, be brave, be strong. Let all that you do be done with love.

1 Corinthians 16:13

God is good. He has good things in store. Remember this. Know that you are His, understand your identity is completely wrapped up in Him. Believe for the very best. Tap into the greater One inside of you knowing that it is He who causes all things to come to pass.

Find rest and peace in the release as you pray through to the breakthrough in all that He has in store for you.
