Soaring to Higher Altitudes in Worship

God has created us to be a people that carry the sound and substance of His Presence. ?The impact that vocalized worship has on our lives is profound. Knowing our praise is inhabited by God, we are able to rise to greater heights just as helium causes a ballon to rise. The symbol of helium being “He”, why don’t we just say that “HE” causes us to rise to higher heights by His Presence within us.
Habakkuk 3:19
“The Lord God is my strength;
He will make my feet like deer’s feet,
And He will make me walk on my high hills.”

We were never created to live below our privelege, but rather in high places. He has seated us in the heavenly realms with Christ far above all rule and dominion.
Ephesians 2:4
“But God, who is rich in mercy, because of His great love with which He loved us, even when we were dead in trespasses, made us alive together with Christ (by grace you have been saved), and raised us up together, and made us sit together in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus.”
There is a gap that needs bridged between the truth of God’s Word and where we actually live.?A life of worship and pursuit of His promises helps us to bridge that gap.?As we learn to live in this place of promise there is a transformation that happens to us. Just as the higher you travel in air space, so your ability to breathe the air becomes literally impossible because of the change in altitude. The picture being that as we ascend in worship He becomes our life, as He becomes our everything as we lose our lives in pure worship.
Romans 16:18
“For your obedience has become known to all. Therefore I am glad on your behalf; but I want you to be wise in what is good, and simple concerning evil. And the God of peace will crush Satan under your feet shortly.”
This verse?shows us?how our thinking should excel in things relating to God and be elementary in things regarding evil.?This is where we take on a higher level of thinking in our minds. There is something called a “snake line” that refers to how high in altitude a snake can exist. Snakes can only live up to a certain altitude. Naturally speaking, we would say between 7,000 to 8,000 feet above sea level. They cannot survive at extremely high altitudes. There is certain line that cannot be crossed. This is a beautiful parallel to how things work in the spiritual realm. As our hearts and minds are captured in worship we soar to much higher altitudes than the enemy can function in. There comes a point where he is immobilized and is as good as dead. He has no power over our lives when we live at such a?degree of devotion to God. The devil could find no place in Jesus because His life was in perfect devotion to the Father. Nothing could affect Him that was not part of the intended purpose for which He came. ?(John 19:11)?God’s grace is the enabling force that helps us walk in this exemplary devotion.
Make the effort to live a life of worship, vocalize your praise and be sensitized to the Spirit in faith devoting yourself to communion with God.?God wants to overflow you with the substance of His Spirit that you would rise to higher altitudes in His Presence.
