End Zone Touchdown Dream

In this football game there was chaos in the end zone. There were players from both teams crowded from the 5 yard line to the end zone. There was only this small segment of space that the quarterback could pass the ball to – where he could not even see his receiver.

Outside of the crowd of players from both teams all being crunched together in the end zone, his receiver was there on his back deep in the end zone looking up at the sky. The quarterback just threw the ball, perfect of course, right over the chaos and into the end zone over all the other players! His receiver was there waiting on the turf with his hands open for the catch expecting to the ball to fall where he was. Sure enough his receiver saw the ball at the last second falling from the sky catching it while on laying down – even for the touchdown!

To be honest, when I had this dream I thought, Well, that was a nice dream. Not thinking much of it. After about half a day going by I realized there was much more to this.The picture the Spirit is showing here is how we can position ourselves to catch the blessing and victory of God that Jesus is passing to us as we are soaking in His Presence in the end zone – even waiting before the Lord!

The young lions lack and suffer hunger; But those who seek the Lord shall not lack any good thing.

Psalms 34:10

If then you were raised with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ is, sitting at the right hand of God. Set your mind on things above, not on things on the earth. For you died, and your life is hidden with Christ in God.

Colossians 3:1

Isn’t that what scripture says as it tells us just how important it is that we enter the rest that He has already provided for us through the cross – even before the foundation of the world?

There remains therefore a rest for the people of God. For he who has entered His rest has himself also ceased from his works as God did from His.

Hebrews 4:9

Jesus is passing the ball of His victory in the midst of the chaos and what seemingly looks impossible.

Take your rest in His Presence today, even catching the blessing and victory of God for your life! If there is chaos it makes no difference because Jesus knows how to throw a perfect pass!
