1. Preparations for the Spirit
Make your heart and house for the Holy Spirit.? God is ready to pour out gifts, freshness of His Presence and awaken our eyes to His goodness giving us the double of His glory with the overflow and outpour of His blessings.
“And I will pray the Father, and He will give you another Helper, that He may abide with you forever–“
The Holy Spirit, the Helper, is ready to give out gifts and is giving out gifts to those who ask, seek and believe that God will do what He says He will do.? The Word of God is the standard, the plum line and the measure by which God performs.? He performs His Word.
“The Lord said to me, “You have seen correctly, for I am watching to see that my word is fulfilled.”
The Holy Spirit is here to help bring these promises to pass.? God is generous.? His Spirit is generous.? He desires His people to see this side of His face.?? The religious mind cannot grasp the goodness of God. God does things simply because He is good.? The greatest gift He gave was Jesus.? Everything else that He gives cannot compare to this.? We must believe in the goodness of God, His desire to give specifically to us and present ourselves in ready-mode to receive all that He wants to give.? God is a giver, not a taker.? The devil is a taker, a thief.? That is what a thief does – “take”.
“The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly.”
2. The Spirit’s Remodeling
“Behold, I will do a new thing, Now it shall spring forth; Shall you not know it? I will even make a road in the wilderness and rivers in the desert.”
God gives.? He keeps on giving and will not stop because it is more than something He does.? It is who He is.? When you talk about giving gifts God takes the top of the list as the greatest of givers. The Holy Spirit is ready to give remodels and upgrades to His people.? Those who will welcome Him in the house will receive upgrades and remodels that will be beautifications created out of His glory Presence.? The Holy Spirit does excellent work.? As we welcome the Spirit to help us we will be amazed at the amazing work he does.? He is ready to bring surprises of His remodeling capabilities. The excellence of what He does will catch us off guard and put the “awe of God” back in our hearts.? We will say, “How awesome! This is amazing!” Our hearts will well with thanksgiving and joy at the sight of His work.
3. Divine Surprises & The Double
“Instead of your shame you shall have double honor, And instead of confusion they shall rejoice in their portion. Therefore in their land they shall possess double; Everlasting joy shall be theirs.”
He will build something new that we were not expecting, but because we welcomed Him in the house it will just be part of the blessing His Presence.
The Helper, the Holy Spirit, is also ready to give us the double portion of His sound.? Many have tried to use man-made means to fix their sound or voice.? But for those who welcome the Holy Spirit, He will give new state of the art amplification to the voice with crystal clear sound.?? The first attribute of the sound will be holy and pure.? There will not be the mixture of man in the sound.? He will double the amplification of the sound.? This will be stereo sound with a right and left.? Blessings and gifts of God will come right and left.? People will be drawn to the sound right and left.? Divine increase will abound right and left.? Curses will be broken and blessings of God will be released.
4. Fulfillment & Abiding Joy
“You will show me the path of life; In Your presence is fullness of joy; At Your right hand are pleasures forevermore.”
As we welcome the Presence of the Holy Spirit in our midst He will begin to work His wonders and amaze our hearts in His glory.? There is an intrinsic joy that is experienced when we are enveloped in His Presence.? It is such a place that we are elated and lifted to the peaks of His grace and glory.? He has given us the highest seat right next to His Son being seated in the heavenly realms.? The Holy Spirit brings that reality into our hearts as we yield to Him.
